Founded in 2003, AquaLogix, Inc. has assembled an experienced leadership team that includes proven entrepreneurs, aquatic fitness industry experts, sales and marketing professionals, and legal expertise. The company currently has five U.S. patents issued and four patents pending covering upper and lower body aquatic exercise products.

Tadlington Stout, Inventor/Founder of AquaLogix Fitness
Tad (as he’s known to his friends) is very excited for this opportunity to share some of his life’s work. Tad has had the honor of working with, learning from and training some of the most talented, successful and fulfilled people in the world today. Tad has been a competitive and professional athlete, and has trained all over the world working with the best in nutritional and extreme sports science.

Surfing since the age of 9, was the source and inspirational corner stone for me, and the first round toward feeling the Mind/Body/Spirit connection and its push toward the entrepreneurial fitness revolution that is in place today. These experiences and inspirations have lead Tad to developing his craft into mastering aquatic sports science and design development in to over 10 Patents.

Tad has been an international master presenter of aquatic fitness instruction and its techniques and holds multiple certifications. He has trained with PhD’s, coaches, the military and extreme athletes in Hawaii and around the world. The development of the AquaLogix Fitness System represents years of aquatic exercise science and is the most revolutionary aquatic fitness system ever created for water. The evolution in fitness is always pushing the limits by every angle and by every means. Advisory Board
Marv Marinovich, renowned sports enhancement specialist, was captain of the 1962 undefeated national championship USC Trojan team, an offensive lineman for the Oakland Raiders, and was the conditioning coach for the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl II. As an NFL conditioning coach and evaluation consultant, Marv was responsible for testing thousands of highly skilled football players.

He continued to expand his revolutionary techniques by evaluating and training elite athletes representing all the major sports and by determining the specific qualities and relationships which define athletic excellence.

The SportsLab training equipment has been designed and modified by Marv to precisely target and remediate areas of imbalance and weakness. Marv's diligent research and his reputation for the pursuit of athletic excellence have allowed him to continuously glean the most current scientific information available. SportsLab training methods have constantly evolved and are the cutting edge techniques in demand by hundreds of elite athletes.

Zach Bumgarner - Zach received his bachelor’s degree in 2006 from nationally renowned Carroll College in Helena, MT. While at Carroll, Zach played on 4 consecutive national championship football teams that compiled an amazing record of 53-4 and went undefeated twice! He has appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter and Chris Berman’s Top Plays for what is arguably the greatest play in Carroll College football history! Immediately after graduating Zach took a position as manager of the Jackson Hole Athletic Club in Jackson, WY. Zach implemented his first full AquaLogix class program at the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center in 2006. For over one year, utilizing Jackson Hole’s world-class environment, the opportunity to train professional and amateur athletes alongside all ranges of fitness professionals and enthusiasts firmly cemented AquaLogix’s relevancy in elite athlete performance training, group fitness training, personal training, and rehabilitation. Over the last 3 years Zach has been adapting his extensive athletic and sports training background into teaching, training, and developing systems, programs, and workouts utilizing AquaLogix’s revolutionary aquatic fitness training equipment. Zach currently resides with his wife in sunny San Diego, CA.

Lisa A. Garrity, MA Ed.; CSCS, Fitness Education Specialist with almost 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, Lisa Garrity has a wide breadth of knowledge and skills related to all aspects of teaching others how to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle. She is currently a Certified Master Level Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor teaching classes and training clients around San Diego County. She specializes in water exercise and therapeutic fitness training. She holds certifications from ACE, NSCA, AEA, Schwinn and Reebok Spinning, Gravity Training, BOSU, AIFE (Older Adult Fitness), the Arthritis Foundation, CPR and First Aid. At this time she is focusing on training other fitness instructors as a faculty member for Grossmont Community College, Exercise Etc., Inc. and Aqualogix Fitness Inc. where she functions as the Director of Education and Program Development.

Phil Black. Phil has been in the fitness industry for over twelve years. While he has extensive experience as a collegiate athlete, certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, inventor, and fitness entrepreneur, his passion and expertise lies in unconventional water-based training. Phil was a Navy SEAL officer for nearly six years, spending the last two years as a Navy SEAL Instructor in Coronado, CA. He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Phil lives and works in San Diego with his wife and twin sons.

Alison Terry, San Diego swim coach, ocean lifeguard and holder of numerous swim records is active in both the local and international swim community and committed to introducing water related fitness to individuals of all ages. Alison holds San Diego Imperial Age Group Swim Records, Masters Age Group Records, was a World University Games & Olympic Cup Gold Medalist and world ranked freestyler, and is currently a World Lifeguard Championships Gold Medalist. She was an inaugural inductee in the University of San Diego High School Sports Hall of Fame. Alison is widely recognized in the area as a result the water safety production she coordinates and presents to local elementary schools and numerous television appearances. Her 20-year background in aquatic training and coaching brings a personal expertise in enhancing core strength training and fitness technique.

John Spencer Ellis. Each week, over one million people around the world enjoy a fitness program created by John Spencer Ellis. He is the President of NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association) and the Spencer Institute for Life Coaching. Combined, these two professional associations have 40,000 members in 20 countries. John is on the Advisory Board for the American Association of Personal Trainers, Get America Fit Foundation, and is a Fellow of the National Board of Fitness Examiners. John is the author of "How Badly Do You Want It? - Your Ultimate Guide to Optimal Fitness," a contributor to "Power of Champions," and the Fitness Editor of OC Flair magazine. He is the creator of Adventure Boot Camp, the largest fitness boot camp program in the world, with locations in eight countries. John's signature series of outdoor fitness equipment with TriActive America is used in communities around the globe. His fitness articles and interviews have been featured in over 30 publications, and he is a frequent consultant to the world's media on health, fitness and lifestyle topics. John has been featured on NBC, CBS, PBS, ESPN & Bravo. He is the host of the forthcoming TV show The OC Body. He also stars in the workout DVD Playground Boot Camp.

Mary O. Wykle, Ph.D. Mary received her Ph.D. in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from Saint Louis University. Her residency was with the Scott Air Force Base Medical Center where she directed development of a weight management course – TUFF (Turn Unwanted Fat into Fitness). She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Health and Physical Education from West Virginia University. Mary holds Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Industry Certification and Aquatic Exercises Association Certification. She is a certified practitioner and presenter of Ai Chi – mind/body water course and is a certified instructor in Yoga and Pilates. She is a certified Lifestyle and Weight Management consultant with the American Council on Exercise. In addition, she teaches the Risk Awareness and Safety Training for Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Practitioners as an Instructor/Instructor Trainer.
