I’m coming to do the water training because I have a really bad lower back, herniated disk and degenerative disk disease. There’s been very few things that have helped my back and helped me get back into any kind of competitive state, but the water training really is easy on my back and I can still feel it really working, so this was super fun today.
I think it’s genius. Yeah, I think it’s genius. They have a whole other source to see where. It’s not always easy to put them in front of mirrors and whatnot, and it’s still seeing somebody punch down the face or down a line or what not but the water really, really does help. You can see it as well as feel it.
I have played sports my whole life. I’ve done soccer, softball, track. I did football for a year. I did Muy Thai a little bit for about three or four years, athletic.
It’s something that’s easy to use and it targets more muscles. Your body is lighter in the water but you’re still able to get your muscles a great workout.
It’s definitely the most intense water training I’ve done. Usually water training, it’s too easy, it’s hard to really feel your core in it but this actually was perfect. It’s just enough for my back to where it doesn’t overdo it but I’m still actually feeling like my glutes are engaged and my abs are engaged. As well, I’m still feeling like I’m punching correctly and be in the water. It’s a lot of fun.
