I have found working out in water to be most powerful and satisfying workout I have ever tried. I’ve been a personal trainer for going on 5 years and I have tried it all. Although I love the feel of a good weight lifting workout and I love the burn and exhaustion the following day which lets me know it was a good one; it sometimes can be too much on my body and I find myself having a hard time functioning because I’m so darn sore. The best thing about working out in water is that you still get the amazing cardiovascular benefits, along with muscular strength due to the resistance you get in every single second of movement and its low impact. I know when I get out of the water after doing an AquaLogix workout I not only feel my heart beating as if I just went for a run but I feel alive and awake and rejuvenated. My joints don’t hurt and my muscles aren’t so sore that I’m not sure I will be able to walk the next day. In the end I feel absolutely amazing and ready to proceed with the day and I actually look forward to getting in the water and doing it again. Plus being in water is fun for all ages and safe as well. Seniors and pregnant women don’t have to worry about falling and it’s low impact so it’s good for your joints. Pregnant women are able to do more in water and not worry about the strain on the body or the baby. You’re not likely to pull a muscle or twist an ankle. In the end I believe this is going to revolutionize fitness and change the way people look at exercise. Water makes exercising fun and life is about being healthy so we can enjoy all the wonderful things it has to offer.
